Update:

I emailed Ron@Vengeance Friday and asked:

"Are we going to be able to schedule in September, or is it looking like October or later?"

He emailed me back and said:

"We should be in September sir. I had forgot we are waiting on Pedders bits also. I have some of the items ordered from them, but not all. I will work on an ETA the first of next week and see what we can come up with."

The only new information that I can convey at this time is that Ron says that I should be able to drop it off one weekend and pick it up the next weekend. I still have no clue when that will be though

I understand that are shops that will do the work, as for as that goes I can do it myself, I had a quote of $14,000.00 and they wanted to keep my car for 4 or 5 days, can't really see that. I do think THR has been doing this a long time and it just feels different. NOT saying that it is the only way to go, an I am still looking for someone I can trust.

I wouldn't let some one put a roof on my house if I could not WATCH them do it. Just me being me I guess!

Well, my plans are not to drop it off and then pick it up when it is done. I will be staying with my sister and brother-n-law a couple of hours away. My brother-n-law has my 1998 Corvette I sold him (well, he is still paying for it), and I plan on driving it down several times through the week with my digital camera and digital video camera and watching them do some of the work.

Hopefully, I will hear something this week. I want to schedule it and then request the time off from work. They received 60% of the total cost back in the month of June to order the parts.

I went through emissions testing yesterday. I talked to the tech guy there. I asked if I can go with long tube headers and high-flow catalytic converters. He said 'I recommend you do'. He drives a 4th gen Camaro. It seems that I don't have to keep my original cats after all

I talked to Ron@Vengeance and he is going to get me some ARH long tube 1-7/8 with cats to hook up to my Borla Touring.

They are still trying to get some Pedder's bits so we can schedule my build.

I finally lost patience. I decided to go with Pfadt Coil Overs, Sway Bars, End Links, and Trailing Arms instead of Pedder's Xa Street Package with Sway Bars. The build is now scheduled for the week of Sept. 27

I am familiar with their packages. I didn't want any external 'clues' as to what is done inside the engine compartment

I am not updating the fuel injectors or using a boost-a-pump, so I will be fuel limited and not reach 700hp. I will be over 500rwhp, which equates to approx 625hp, I think.
