$7000 "market adjustment" - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

went to the local chevy dealer to look at a Camaro, they only had one a silver 2LT RS with sunroff automatic trans,
I was looking around the car and saw the sticker price was $31,000+ but then lower down the sticker said $7000 market adjustment so I called the seller and ask him that what was the deal on the $7000 "market adjustment" then he goes and says to me "well this cars are very popular and we can keep them on the lot" so I turned around and said to him good luck selling that car with that ridiculous dealer mark up.

I can't beleive these greedy dealers doing this after what GM is going thru.

there are some fair dealers out there just have to look around. The dealer i went with had a 5k over MSRP untill i told/showed him I could go down the street a bit and get it for MSRP.

doing that big time in ontario canada right now... dealer buying cars from the states and selling em over here for considerable markup... last 3 sold by my dealer was all from the states...
