Bolt size for V6 M6 shifter?

Can anyone tell me the size of the bolts that hold in the shifter underneath the car. They are the two inside the rubber boot that go into the shifter housing. Found somewhere thay might be a 6mm x 1 (pitch)but I dont know the length and I don't want to guess. Need to find them at maybe an Ace Hardware.

Thanks

Hey thanks for the response. Was using my torque wrench and one of my bolts stripped. Only had it at 7 foot lbs as instructions said and the head twisted right off. If you can confirm the size and pitch for me that would be great. Pretty sure they are M6 x 1 (pitch). Had to order new shifter mount for $130. Might be able to drill it out but...Gonna be an expensive bolt.

Gut told me to back off and just snug up w/o the torque wrench but I didn't listen.

Live and learn right.

Where in AZ are you?
