Hi Upstate:
Just checking in, haven't been on C5 for a long while. Back to hockey already, have a home pre-season game tomorrow night so my summer is over.

Found a 2010 Summit White 1LT/RS, M6, Sunroof, 15k miles for $24k near Savannah, GA. Guy is in the service just drove from CA to GA and are expecting a baby and can't afford the car. Getting it for my daughter - hope to be home with it in time Saturday to surprise he when she gets home from work. Haven't driven a V6,k yet, so I'll be very familiar with it after driving for 6 hrs.

Oh, and I'm a grandmother!! Son and his wife had a little girl (Alice Elizabeth) on Labor Day.

It's something I've been considering, but not quite what I'm looking for, so it's hard to spend that much when I would really like a different motor, etc. I have not ruled it out, but since I have to sell another car first I can't commit to anything just yet. The good news is waiting a little longer gives me more options.

I am, I am ok if I am not the first one to have one though. I have not talked to my dealer as of yet. I was thinking of dropping in to see what they think so far about allocations and how many interested (serious) customers they have.. I know the official list is not out as of yet. I am not willing to pay a mark up just because it is popular though. If that happens I an quite fine with waiting. I would guess this car is made at least until the 6th Gen Camaro is out as they have put a ton into R&D on this car. So I want it next year but if it does not work out can wait till '13... So it really depends on price and availability which may drive the price up if scarce...
