actually the confusion is from us wanting to skip the step of setting the ride height if we don't have to. So he made the decision to install them the way they are since he really want' his car low. if it's too low he'll remove em and set the ride height a little higher.

Its easier to LOWER the car once they are on, VS trying to raise it.
Damn dont have any of my install specs when I did my XA's...All at home somewhere...But, looking at the picture above, there should be about the same about of space between the height adjustment ring and the lower lock ring for a 1-1.5 inch drop. Ball park... I'll look for my specs when I get home. Jason

All iPhone pics so I didn't take much to choose from. This is every pic I took. I decided not to really document it since GTAHVIT already did.

What spurred the confusion was I was supposed to screw the retainer nut down finger tight and I was getting compression in the spring doing it finger tight. Wasn't sure at that point if I was supposed to bottom the nut out (which you do) or just finger it till you get spring compression. Once I knew wht the deal was, I just took the chance on the ride height and measured both spring perch gaps for each side and made sure they were equal. Did the same for the rear. Piece-a-cake.......... |

I'm an idiot........... I didn't measure it before.
But, yes. It's lower in the front by about half inch and in the rear probably 3/4. |

I'll keep the anchors for now. May just buy some wheels for DRs on the back and keep them for track days.

Actually maybe only half inch back quarter inch front.
Here are some I took earlier today. STIFF STIFF STIFF.............. I love the ride. And here's one just for you Chris......... I did it...... How bout my collection I'm starting. LOL The stock Sway bars, air box, window cleaner reserviore, headers, exhaust, mufflers, wheels, and a few other items are long gone already. Sheesh, won't be much left of my original car at this rate. |

I sold my intake manifold for a good buck. You might want to list that in the members classifieds section. Those Pfadt springs will get a you a couple hundred too.
Your car looks GREAT on the Pedders! Congrats! |
