Anyone running the zl1 fuel pump w/ adm module on a FI LS3?

Curious how effective it is and how much boost it will support.

You will get many differnt opinions on this, mostly hp numbers some say 600whp others 650 usually people making about that much hp on FI LS3 are running from 8-to maybe 10lbs of boost I am switching to the zl1 adm setup very soon and will be running about 8.5 lbs of boost. I also think you can get away with the higher numbers like 650 if you have good injectors like IDs or FICs that can help keep fuel pressure up

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I will be good to go. Installed mine the other day (pump/module). Installing Paxton's 1200sl kit soon. I should be about high 5's low 6's. Kit comes with 66lb injectors but don't know anything about them other than that.

So far installed bbk Lt's w/ high flow cats, Borla s-type cat back , slp zr1 clutch kit, and the zl1 pump and amd module.

So does the ADM module eliminate the need for a fuel pump booster(MSD)? Or would there still be benefits from the booster in addition?

From what I understand it is not needed. The pump can produce the needed pressure and the module allows for a greater range of tuning options in order to make the pump perform the way you need it to.

Others please reply if I'm wrong.

Send an email to Andy & ask him. I know PMJ on here is pushing that setup really far at around 800rwhp, he was running it that way at The Texas Mile, you could pm him also.

The combo wasn't enough for me on E85 at ~600 whp but E85 requires ~30% additional fueling. Livernois dual pump I still see a pressure drop also, waiting for the Squash returnless system to be released. 9 psi boost with ID850's.

works fine for me through an auto and big converter showing 628whp...mid 10 second range in the 1/4 I guess...we run 1kft here and it runs 8.8@116. Rhino said no concern when he was tuning it.

btw...with headers added and 654whp the car picked up a bit over a tenth and 3mph. fuel still fine...pullied down 2 more psi and went to like 675...fuel pressure dropped 3psi. so we put it back at the 654 boost and tune.

This set up can still benefit from an MSD fuel pump voltage booster.

My Whipple came with the MSD booster. I installed it even though several folks here said it was not needed. I installed the ZL1 fuel pump and ADM pump controller and had Ted tune it. I am holding 68psi fuel pressure at the fuel rail at 9psi boost consistently at all rpm's using the injectors that came with the Whipple. No dyno numbers though.
