Valet Parking...I said, Can I park my own car, I don't let anyone drive it. As I'm parking the car the valet says to my husband "so how long has she had the Mustang". My husband says "shame on you...that is a Camaro". When I came back she asked for my keys so she could scribble out Mustang and write in Camaro. THEN come to find out she has a Mustang!!! REALLY!!!
 So glad I didn't let her park my car!!!!!!!!!! |

My funniest moments came from my Mom who is not even remotely a car person. When I told her I finally ordered a Camaro she asked me if that was one of them green cars or a fun car. When I told her it was a newer version of the red car the neighbor's boyfriend drove, she wanted to know why I would want something so noisy with all the driving I do. (deep cleansing breath). Mom they don't have to be that loud, mine should be pretty quiet.
Then when I actually had it and brought it over to show her, she was amazed that such a "guy" car would come with pink upholstery even as an option, and really surprised that hubby would let me get a car with pink interior. Mom those are seat covers. Dad on the other hand wanted to know why I didn't get an SS with manual. After all didn't I teach you cars like this are meant to be driven hard. Dad, it has 323 HP and I need to be able to afford gas. |

Here are a few that I have heard, dumbness in ascending order, last one left a dent in my brain.
1) Nice corvette, is it yours? (((I actually like this one))) 2) Nice mustang man. 3) Is that a sports car? 4) Hey, where is the D and the P and the R? (((pointing at my 6spd shifter))) 5) I LOVEEE your mustang buddy. 6) Halo’s are okay.. but I like your rims the BEST. (((Pointing to the stock steelies))) 7) (((A newspaper boy caught me on my driveway and loved what he saw))) Amazing camaro. Oh wow, YOU own this car?! Didnt expect you to be the owner. I thought someone YOUNGER drove it. (((Btw, I was 29.. just turned 30))). |
