I have received information that there will be a Silver V6 Camaro on display tomorrow at the Corvette car show at the Tanger Outlets. I'm attempting to get a sneek peek of the car this afternoon.

The V6 was actually pretty impressive!!! Inside the car fits much like my '69.

Boy what luck, go to see one and then get to drive it too??? Make sure to play the powerball this weekend.

Marchant Chevy? I ordered through Ray Peterson and he was telling me that they were hoping to have a Camaro at the 'Vette show. And idea whether we'll be able to sit in it?

Yes it was Ray that let me and my friend drive it today. It is not a customer's car, so they should let people sit in it. I plan to drive my my '69 over to the show around 11:00 to see it again (can't get enough).

Cool! I'm not sure when I'll head over there (probably try to get there as it starts, but may come back later, too), but I'm sure I'll be taking pictures of everything. So if you see a 25-year old with a Nikon D40x taking pictures of the Camaro(s?) and 'Vettes, that may very well be me!

That silver V6 was awesome! Gary, I was the guy who asked if you and your friend (?) "owned the red and blue ones".

It was a mistake to wear jeans today, but I'll upload all of the pictures I took.

Gary, if you or your friend (?) want any of the pictures I took (especially of your cars), just let me know. Thanks for letting us know that the V6 was going to be there!

Just got back from Marchant. looks good in silver. Didn't sit in it.
Made my GTO look kind of old school.
the wheels are huge.
Hopefully i can drive it soon.
The dealership was closed but Rob marchant(ithink it was him) was inside talking on the phone. I waved and went and looked at tahoes.
I'll be back.

After seeing it and driving it, when driving back home Friday afternoon I was noticing how boring all the other cars were on the road!

It sure was a suprise to get to drive it! My friend Mike is a good friend with the dealer. He promised to call Mike as soon as one showed up. Got the call Friday so we both played hooky all afternoon.

I'm still amazed how "familiar" the car felt to me. There had been comments from FBodfather that if you ever drove a '69 that it would feel very familiar. Somehow they pulled that off very well.
