$2 Mod

Bought this piping from JoAnnes Fabric for $1.99

I have the plastic panels and there was a good size gap along the bottom and thought I could throw in an accent. Used panel removing tools to shove the piping in the crack, laid it down flush to make sure it ran strait. Carried it across my dash to other side of steering wheel. $2 and $10 minutes.

What do you think?

Man that is sweet.. it was like impossible for me to go around the top of the panel and the door panels with the hard plastic insert... maybe it was easier with the cloth panels? Or do youthink I should be able to do it also?

The door panels were a big PITA, even with the cloth panels. Just take your time. I went through several credit cards. The dash would be easiest if you just popped the panels out a bit.

Technically, yes. They don't want to come out, though. You need to persuade them.
