Parking Spot
I don't know if it's just me or if this feeling is more wide-spread. When I'm at a facility and looking for a parking spot I usually pick one far out of the way, FAR away from any cars to park next to me and ding my doors up.
~~BUT~~ If I see another Camaro or Firebird in the parking lot, ESPECIALLY if it's a 5th Gen I'm almost inclined to park next to/in front of/in back of that car. I don't know why that is...anybody else know what I'm saying?

I now park next to nice cars like mine, although when I drove my truck as a DD I always parked far out in the parking lot. Just habit I got myself into so I dont worry about parking.

Parking will make me late for work/school. I get there early and park
a) in the parking garage b) ONLY in corner/edge spaces with my car as close to the blank edge as possible. c) around other nice cars I saw another red camaro at the mall and it had a huge door ding that further confirmed why I park in such a crazy way.

I always park way out no matter what I'm driving. I figure I'll leave the close parking spots for the fat lazy people who park to close to other cars knowing their ass wont fit through the opening without squeezing, resulting in them pushing even harder on their door already in the car next to them

Maybe this is why my truck has bunch of scratches and stuff, LOL. Not really. I park whereever I can find a spot upclose or out back. But once I get the Camaro I will probably be parking way out back.

In Before someone starts talking about asshats and parking because I am one of those asshats that parks WAY out, at an ANGLE, taking up TWO parking spots most of the time and I don't give a rat's ass what anybody thinks about it.
-end rant

I get anxiety every time I park my baby. Bugs the hell out of me. Whereve I go, I worry about her out there all alone.
I'm just waiting for that first scratch/ding/dent/hit-n-run. Don't know what my reaction will be, but it won't be pretty.

I'm just the opposite. If a garage is an option, I avoid it. My train of thought is that cars are more likely to be messed with (broken into) in a garage. It's a lot more darker and confined. A lot easier for someone to duck and hide if they hear some one coming. I prefer to park in the bright shiny sunlight. I do agree with the other two points though. If your way out in the middle of the lot, thieves will leave it alone because they can't conceal themselves very well in that situation

will park out in the boonies, but i've seen more than a few cars vandalized when they take two spaces. besides, it's good exercise to walk.
