Meg's plastX for radio face with orange pad
have used plastx on the radio face a few times trying to apply it with different types of mirofibers and the like but I always ended up creating new scratches or marring. then I tryed a foam DA pad, the 4 inch kind I normally use for tight areas with an adapter. it was an orange pad with light cutting but I used it with a feathery lite touch to work the Plastx over the face alternating vertical and horizontal movements. made sure to finish going up and down vertiaclly a few passes. then buffed off with a fresh microfiber towel. this time it turned out perfect, by far the best result working with Meg's PlastX. when the sun catches it now it shows no scratches or maring. Hope this helps someone

I just read about someone using an orange pad on a rotary for glass.
Cool info! I would add there is a TSB on the plastic radio face scratches, so you can get it done for free if you are still under warranty

the origional reason I was using plastX was because of a thread I was reading a while back mentioned it on here. just could find the right applicator til I tried th orange pad. now I can stop worrying about a crappy looking radio screen!

Nice how they polish it for you but don't protect it afterwards so you're back in a week for the same thing.
