autolite plugs
yes after i had done alot of my own chip burning and tuning on my last camaro, i had alot of possative results with autolite spark plugs.-Do you think there could be some advantage in a stock .S.S ?? BY Adding this brand ?? - After studying the combustion design on the heads, which are simular to my last camaro,, im getting ready to try and see as i think there could be a advantage- p.s. My last camaro had simular chamber design and i tried every plug out there and delco was worse and autolite came out on top for my veh in it's tune and for running

Autolite plugs carbon track very easily. I have solid core race plugs (autolite) in my third gen but I also run nitrous and don't drive it allot. I wouldn't run any autolite plug in a DD. I wouldn't even put them in my lawnmower. Delco, denso, or NGK.

yea, -I had run autolites, in my 82 third gen with a 388 cu in engine with Pro topline prolightning heads, and autolite were the best with my combo and head chamber design.--Never heard of them carbon track or seen.--They are auctually known to run cleaner/self clean.. Actually the heads i mentioned only recommended the autolites,, and other heads i was thinking of using, that were very similar said autolite too.--Seems the three diff, manufacturers knew somthing, and when i tried them to other plugs in my chip burning and car tuning, they were best.--

I run Autolite plugs in my DZ 302 because I like the broad heat range. They work better for me in that application. The Delco plugs will foul pretty easy in that engine.
My blown 2010 Camaro has the original plugs in it and they work just fine. -Mark. |
