squash/aermotive/lpe pumps
I am going to be in the market for a fuel pump soon and am trying to figure out what would best suite my needs I am running a Maggie and will be running about 9.5 lbs of boost prob making 600rwhp and maybe more in the future I think I want the ability to run e85 if I decide to and so far it looks like only squash can do this can anyone confirm this. Also if e85 was not something I was going to do what pump would you run and why...

I've heard the LPE twin pumps are pretty amazing but also know several people, including myself who run Aeromotive and are good well into the 600-700 range. I've heard all of them are good with e85. I've run e85 with my stock pump with no problems at all.

Hobbs controls the secondary pump. Don't think twice about it. Best solution thus far for the 5th gen.

You don't need a hobbs on a track only setup.

Squash is the way to go. His kits are top notch and come complete with everything you need.
Hobbs switch helps with pump longevity. You don't need both pumps running all the time, so when the Hobbs switch sees boost, it kicks the second pump on. I have the squash fuel system in my g8, with twin dw300 pumps, e85 approved and capable of a lot of power. His pumps are a work of art This is his complete return style kit with rails and ptfe lines |

My Aeromotive is noisy and has a cavitation problem, so I'm thinking of switching out.
Got any links on the Squash? Padre |

I run the squash setup, e85 capable and I'm and 630+ to the tire with plenty of fuel. The Hobbs is a simple hookup. If you go squash, Get the pre made wiring harness, nicely done and quick and easy to lay out and hook up. Pump noise is barely noticeable also. I will have to say, I do get vapor weep from the base kit hose. I would go ptfe hose. Its not cheap but it's the heart of your system, don't cheap out on a fuel system if your serious about power.

The Squash returnless system is on the home stretch. If you can hold out and wait it'll be the best thing since sliced bread. It'll be in my car very soon. I will let everyone know how it is. |
