You just paint what is there? What does a cover look like anyway.

I wasn't sure, pictures must mostly show aftermarket or SS brakes or something.

The caliper on a 1lt looks small..so wasn't sure, the RS wheels look like they'd cover it up for the most part.

they're a joke... the brake dust is going to go somewhere! and most likely it will just spin out of the brakes like they already do and land on your wheels!

caliper covers are about as useless as a throttle body spacer

The ones that I have seen were pretty cheap looking. Painting yours would be a better way to go.

There is a guy that bought them locally. One fell off on the highway and did some damage, I kinda laughed at him for buying them in the first place.

From an installer standpoint, we don't recommend them AT ALL. Even the Non-SS brake calipers look better to us painted than the covers do. Like everyone has said, painted calipers look like you took the time to do it right, the covers LOOK just like covers, cheap imitation and completely non-functional in every way.

I would say if you don't have the SS brakes, buy a set of 4 calipers from the dealer (cheaper than you think) and then get our supporting SS upgrade for $879 for slotted and cross drilled rotors, Goodridge SS lines, Metal Matrix pads, and AP Racing brake fluid.

Just my 2 cents.....

Or, give fesler a call for one of their SS take-off sets. That's what i did. Very very reasonable $$ wise.

wait overnight, you don't want dust and road grime in your paint while it is still wet.
