Good thing you're not an elected official, you'd be strung up for that quote.

Actually, there's been more dead raccoons on the road this summer than I've ever seen. I notice because our crews pick them, deer, etc up and dispose of them. I have been calling in raccoons almost every day while I'm out on the road.

At least it wasn't a horse! We had a car hit a horse a couple of weeks ago. Nobody claimed it, so we found a farmer that would let us bury it.

My daughter has volleyball practice till 5 down near Fields Ertel, so I won't be able to make it to Lofinos till a little after 6. Think you guys will be there still?

If so, save me a spot - I don't want to have to park in the corner with the ricers.

Gordy, you got it all wrong, it will be Jason in the corner with all the ricers, his civic will fit in perfectly, Uncle Ben will probably even save him a spot.

I'm going to try to be there between 3:30 and 4:00 and park along the trees close to Bob Evans.

Great, a new spot! And shade to boot! 3:30 will be early enough. Take a couple chairs to hold some spots.

Where's dinner after? Bobs?

Patty will be over at the Greene with some friends, so I'll be voting for one of those options. It's still a short drive from Lofinos (just not right across the street). I'm sure between all the cut-outs, cams, etc we could still raise some eyebrows driving through there.

Safe travels Mac... and remember reduced speed limits in construction are NOT journalized thus not enforceable (but they try). Just keep it to the legal posted (white sign, black letters) and you're good. If the cop hassles you, just ask of the speed limit was legally lowered and journalized.

...or play it safe and drive whatever is posted in the construction zone!

I doubt Uncle Ben will after his comment about hitting something in the road.

Yes, good time, good crowd and awesome cars! Any pics?

Was fun seeing Rd Jewl's Trans Am.

Hopefully we'll see you at the next big event. You coming back for one of the Mid-Ohio events?

You should come up to the FBody reunion in Akron September 10/11. Jamie and JD will be there...

But I don't have a Dyno Club sticker.

I'll check the calendar. Nope, Patty leaves town on the 11th so I better be around to see her off.
