LOL Umm, while I don't know the performance figures anymore than you do, I would be happy to put some money on the ZL1 NOT being faster than a C6 Z06, expecially one with launch control.

I really think this car is being changed as we speak. With the GT500 swinging to 620hp for 2012, the present LSA won't have a chance. If you watch that 3 way race between the GTR-Z06-GT500. The Vette just beat the GT500 by a tiny amount, and thats the GT500 at 550hp, not the 2012 at 620hp. I SO want to buy this car but I will have to wait for the real numbers.

I highly doubt it will beat a C6 Z06. Maybe the base C6 and MAYBE the grand sport, but the Z06 has run 10's upwards of 128 mph with nothing but tires, and a really good driver.

I saw this article. For anyone with the newest Camaro Now: is there any extra/new info in there not covered in other mags?

Well, the car hasnt been produced yet so at this point, EVERYTHING you read in magazines (performance-wise) is pure speculation. The way I see it, this car will likely have a few more than 550HP. I would guess the final numbers to be somewhere in the 560s but not more than 575ish.

Love this car from the start . Can we merge the StingRay high tech interior to this one, and keep it at low 50 please?

Otherwise, it is hot, she's got hips to match, and the stamina/aggresive humpf to match... all in one tight package.

Does anyone know how the steering wheel grip is like when you drive a lot during hot day? DC/VA can get a little bit cold in the winter and slightly hot in the summer.

Yeah thanks. That's like the one part of the interior I haven't noticed after looking at thousands of these pictures for the last few years. I probably would have noticed it if I had ever sat in a fifth gen but I refuse to until I get my own. If I did it would make this long wait even worse.

Well, for what its worth, i know what you mean. I sat in a 98 camaro SS and never got around to getting my hands on an LS1 fbody. I wanted the car BADLY too. I should have never, sat in or driven it.

Why do I swear I saw this on here before from a while ago?

I checked R&T's website and this was from March... *confused*
