OH my God. Tire prices

Someone told me to check out our tire prices on tirerack.com and that was the best place to buy tires. Well, the front ones are 366.00 and the back ones are 407.00 each. Does anyone know of better prices? I want to be ready whenever I need tires.

I have seen alot of Camaro take off Rims and tires for sale on E-bay. You can almost pick up a set with rims for about $900.00 I'm thinking about doing that myself. Matt

Ouch, I thought $215/tire on my current car was bad.

My tires are 47.99 currently. In about 2 years, that price will skyrocket.

Just get different tires. There are cheaper options out there. Granted GM made it hard with the wheel sizes, but you can find some if you look hard enough.

There are plenty of different tires out there.....there are some good tires out in our stock sizes for as little as $125 each.

Was it really necessary to invoke the name of God? Yes, the tires are expensive, but that is primarily driven by the brand and relative lack of competition in that size. By the time you actually need tires, it may not be so bad.

For a while at least, I think you'll be able to buy sets of take-offs for half or less of new. I'm selling mine, in fact, after replacing them with 19's off a non-RS LT (I have a 2LT RS that came with the 20's).

Don't get those flaming Perellis. Bridgestone, Goodyear...etc. They're all almost gauranteed to be cheaper. God knows the stock tires are pricey!!

if one purchased the wheel/tire insurance...and happened to drive those a construction site when their tires were starting to wear down, and all 4 unfortunately were punctured...its like a $50 deductible right?
