As do I. I've only done one burnout on my stock tires, but new tires are EXPENSIVE now that I have the 22's, so I take it easy there. I do drive normally whether it rains or snows. I bought the car to drive it, not to keep it hidden away.

I'm with J and Robert here. I bought my SS to drive and to put it to the test. I'm close to turning 26k miles and I've loved every mile I've put on it. 5k of those miles have been post Whipple and those have put a smile on my face from ear to ear.

Looking forward to having someone take a few pics of our cars together Robert.

Robert, I would say Paint the spoiler.. Right now if it was not painted, it is being used as an accent piece and you dont have another piece to accentuate the rest of the car. Plus with Ghost stripes I don't think it will flow well JMHO. Car is coming along great. As far as driving my car. I have 28k on it with 26500 with the Maggie I bought it to DRIVE!!!!!

Thanks for voicing Joe,

I am seriously leaning to painting it, but I had just enough doubt to pose the question...

I got a camera, and I'll be snapping pictures quite a bit at the Fest. Just park next to each other.

what do you mean by this?

in a good way or bad way?

cause I know in the tune you can set it to do a soft touch rev limiter. not sure if you were referring to that or the fact that it hits redline quick and with force.

When stock and in hammer mode... it more or less feels like this...

151,152,153,154,155, Wham.............153,154,155...................... .

I guess I was implying that it does not take long to get from 130 to 155...

Corey and I have been discussing the changes to my computer during the tuning sessions. The 1-4 skip shift is going away, the speed limiter will be modified.... to a point higher than I will ever drive... etc....

Speed limiters are overrated...

Funny story about Tom Nelson -
He was driving the TT Mosler back from a "fastest production car in the world" shootout. Now mind you this car has 270mph potential. He was driving from Vegas to LA at about 2 in the morning and his wife was sleeping in the passenger seat. He said everytime he would hit 130, she would sit bolt upright and yell at him to slow down. Now that's a speed limiter...
