p0014 exhaust camshaft position system performance
My son's 2017 Camaro V6 (2LT 1LE) check engine light came on last night. I plugged in the ODBII reader and it came back with the follow code:
p0014 exhaust camshaft position system performance I did a bunch of digging on this site and general google search and P0014 is used for a few different things, such as "Code P0014: "Camshaft Position Sensor Bank 1 Exhaust" Has anyone else seen and resolved the "exhaust camshaft position system performance" code? Thanks in advance for any help

You didn't say how many miles, and I assume that is the only code.
I would suspect faulty cam position sensor for bank 1 exhaust, or faulty exhaust valve solenoid. Short of buying new parts and trying them, you can swap the parts from bank 1 to bank 2 and see if the code changes. |
