Agree with you Darkside, it's the connections we make during the event that make this fun. The event just adds to the excitement. If I can travel from PA to there, they can travel from VA...Let it be known that I am going to trailer mine down in case I rip and tear tooo much to drive her home. She'll survive and I know she will come through. Just looking to have some fun and meet new people. Are there camping site(s) or hotel(s) that are recommended? I'm up for either. Anything else going on since this isn't until Sunday?

I strongly encourage everyone attending the event to try and connect with other 2010 Camaro owners to caravan together. I figure there will be more caravaning after the event once everyone gets to know one another. None the less a drive down from Virginia for example would be a lot better if running with 3 or more Camaros in a pack. Makes for a fun road trip.

Just to give a quick update on the number of expected Camaro's to date. We are at 55 Camaro's on this thread alone. I have about another 25-30 listed from e-mail and phone registrations too. And we are still a month a way from the event. I might have to get NASA to take our picture from a satellite with how many Camaro's we might have total.

GREAT! gonna be a good turn out,all the deaga folks are gonna wonder what the camaro invasion is all about....wonder out of all the people coming,who is driving the furthest?...also,i plan to bring the wife and 12 yr.old son,will he be able to ride with us on the road coarse?...he sure wants to or he wont be happy,this not being an actual sanctioned event,i would think that it would be the same as riding on the highway.

I was wondering the same thing.

This would be a great opportunity for other vendors to capitalize on such a large gathering of Camaros in one place.

Also guys, even for people not coming from up north towards W.V. P.A. N.Y. etc, id like for all of us, EVERYONE that is attending the event to meet up an hour or so before the event about five miles give or take in a huge parking lot. fall into line and have a more or less 2010 camaro parade to the event.

maybe MTI can call in some connections they have with the local police department and try to get us an escort to the event, so they can direct traffic in order for us to bypass stop lights and stay in formation..that would be an incredible sight to see. that way people can get once in a lifetime pictures and kids can see all these camaros together..it will be fun for us, a sight to behold for the public, and a news story for the local and maybe national news stations..so please if you guys dont mind keep this in mind and maybe we can get this together.

i have a link posted above about the convoy we are trying to get started for us up north. if youre interested in a huge camaro parade to the Funfest feel free to post on that forum that you want to be a part of that..and please let me know if you are coming from the W.V.
