BUZZARDS CHARITY SHOW, SHINE AND CRUISE sponsored by: LASHWAY MOTORSPORTS Short notice I know, but I was approached by Tyler @ Performance Fabrication Specialists down the road from our place, and he told me about this excellent meet going down this coming weekend at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek. Here is some info: Buzzards Show and Shine Benefit for Cody Meiers Cody has recently been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a bone cancer that is diagnosed less than 300 times annually in the US. The demographic of this disease is enough to test your belief in a benevolent god. It seems to target adolescent and young adult males with aggression. The symptoms and rarity of the disease means it is almost always misdiagnosed as a muscular/skeletal injury. This was the case for Cody. He is currently undergoing treatment, and needs our assistance to offset the cost! Date: September 25th, 2011 Location: Tradewinds Park, Pavilion F (3600 W. Sample Road Coconut Creek, FL) The event will be kicked off with a charity run that starts at the Pompano Mall which is located at US-1 and Copans Road. BSO will lead an escort for the group through broward to Tradewinds Park where the event will take place. We would like all who plan on joining our run from the mall on Copans and US-1 to Tradewinds to meet at 8:30 am sharp. We will depart at 9:00! Lashway Motorsports is honored to be a part of this event, and want everyone to show up for this great cause! All proceeds go to Cody's charity fund. To enter your vehicle, the fee is $20. Spectators are FREE, but we are accepting $5 donations! Classes include some of the following: BEST OF SHOW BEST MUSCLE CAR BEST RAT ROD BEST TUNER CAR OLDEST OF SHOW BEST PAINT BEST ENGINE BEST TRUCK AND MUCH MORE! Bump for the day. This is a great cause guys and gals...plus there is a cruise involved on the way to Tradewinds. If you've never been part of a Police escorted cruise, you HAVE to come along- it's the best!
