Not sure, but Robert knows I'm gonna give him a hard time.

I'm also a little worried about all the Ford parts he's putting in his Chevy.

AC Cobras were too far back also, so they have that forward bend in the shifter. If it's too far, you could always do the same.... just not as drastic

The original is 10.5.. The new one is 14 inches, hence the 3.5 inch difference...

You worry about that silly point and shoot tranny you have and let me worry about my MANual powered car with 1 part originally conceptualized by Ford, and now built by several different manufacturers...

The Trans is built by Tremec... and fixed by RSG... The trans pictured is merely a representative picture.... as was mentioned before...

"Representative"--- For your clarification....
  1. An example of representative is the picture of the olive on the can that shows the size of the olives in the can.

Without being able to measure since I'm off shore, I'm guessing the shifter pivot point will be about where the leading edge of the front drink holder is now... It shouldn't be a problem... I just need to figure out how I will refashion the top of the center console... and either do it myself or have someone do it...

After discussion and decision making, we have ordered the Prothane motormounts for Brandi...

We looked at some other that were solid but vibration and noise were factored in as were reviews of others... so...

Well,,, I'm hoping it's actually two items.... or three depending on how you look at it.... motor mounts, 2 each... Prothane...

and a Rockland Standard Grear extremely modified transmission with different gearing than the 6060 originally had, so I can stretch first out a bit.... not having to shift before the 60 foot line...

etc.........

Am I CLOSE???
