Here's The DEAL I'm LOOKING FOR

Another poster on this forum has already published these figures / info...

"My MSRP was $35,915, I paid $33,315

Total off MSRP $2,600, plus right now you can get the $500 in lieu of the 60 day deal, so that would have been $3,100. Would I have waited another mother for an additional $500 off... maybe."

Has anybody else on this forum made the above kind of deal, or been treated so fairly by their dealer?

IF YES THEN PLEASE P.M. ME HOW YOU GOT THERE

I've done my homework and I too was expecting -$2,500 to -$3,000 Total off MSRP (including all incentives from GM Corporate, and some Dealer Participation (which I'm not getting any of).

This is the best deal I can work with my dealer so far...

MSRP Window Sticker is $36,720
Less the GM Credit Union Discount @ -$1,000
Less the GM 60 Day Opt Out @ -$500 (-$1,500 total) = $35,220

Thank You!

Talk to local dealers and see if they accept these discounts.

don't all dealers have to accept the discount since they are all part of GM? and is a guaranteed 1000 off the price? or does it depend on what model

No, they don't, dealers are independent and can do as they please with pricing.

As for getting more off sticker, something is off with those numbers or simply there's a detail missing (the original) because finding any dealer who would bargain that much below invoice on a Camaro is the proverbial needle in a haystack. Unless, aside from the $500 guarantee, there was some other short lived rebate at the time, they had GM card cash, or...
