Im too scared to comment for fears ill jinx it.

I have a May or June build car (pretty sure its May), maybe that helps?

Has everyone tried multiple smartphones - different brands, models, etc?

People on the other end of the conversation have no trouble hearing me up to at least 70 MPH.

This is getting really tiring! I'm hoping to take the car to maybe another dealer in the coming days? The dealer I've been going to was very nice, but at the end of the day nothing got fixed or even properly acknowledged.

My dealer was finally able to resolve the problem!

They kept my car for a couple of days but were able to trace the issue to a leak in the body seam under the windshield, RIGHT above the microphone. They sealed it and the mic is perfect.
If anyone else is having a similar issue I urge you to get your dealer to check you windshield for leaks around the Mic.

Glad to hear it is fixed!

Any idea how they test something like that?

The paperwork says they listened to the windshield while driving, with a stethoscope.

Presumably the microphone would work while stopped and going low speeds, then get worse as you speed up.

The mic was barely audible while stopped, and completely crap while driving

People say they hear EVERYTHING clear as day on the other end. I usually get complaints about how loud the blinker is. There is apparently little to no noise cancellation on these mics, since clicking/snapping/popping/whirring sounds would be isolated and rejected if there was.

Would love to find a way to disabled Active Noise Cancellation to hear the difference in what it is actually being nulled by the door speakers.

I jinxed myself. MyLink & Android Auto can't understand a damn word I say now and driving home over a bridge today the woman said it was "noisy as sh!t". I guess their rtv gun leaves a thin spot around the same area of the A-pillar as the microphone.

Build month = April 2016

My microphone seems to work fine on both bluetooth and carplay connection while talking to people.

My Mom is hard of hearing and can hear me well when I call her.
