The wheels and tires make a big difference. That is no secret. Wider stickier rubber on forged wheels is a huge plus to the overall package.

Wow, I want your life. At least the track and vacation parts.

How did you record that three camera video with the add-on stuff?

It is also so cool that you pushed the stock SS setup so hard and now can really appreciate the 1LE improvements. I hope you get that oversteer sorted out. My 1LE understeers just a little, I guess they all do. It is a little comforting for me with my very light track experience, but neutral is more fun.

I would love to track more, but have a hard time spending the $$ to do it. With NJ Motorsports park so close to me, I feel like I am missing out.

ESPN sports network provides the editing!
Lol ... I wish!
Im using 2 android phones with an app called ALAP HD to record video and gps data plus it links and record my ELM327 OBD2. Another Gopro for rear view an audio strait from the tail pipes. The editing is done with RaceRender2.
As you can see with my other videos, It took me quite some time and experiments to get it right.

I heard from another member that the 1LE package is on backorder and that the installation voucher expires on September 3rd...

So, I gather you wound up putting them on your car without the 1LE track pack? If so, what was the difference with the feel of the car? I'm sure it felt more "planted".

I purchased the 1LE track pack at Camaro5 Fest and it was a big improvement in the overall handling of the car. The free installation was the deal of the show! Now I need to put the money saved on the install towards the 1LE 10 spokes and tires. I hear they are the real key to completing the total handling experience of an 1LE. They are so expensive right now that I am torn between going with OEM or replica wheels. If I were to buy a new SS today, I would absolutely get the 1LE option. Best bang for the buck out there for a Camaro today.

I feel the same about the wheels and tires...I need them but they are so expensive. Im always looking for alternative. In the end, I hope to get a good deal on the oem wheels.

Im back reporting this week track session.
The 1le suspension has greatly improve my confidence in high speed cornering. It took me 500 miles of hard driving to get used to the stiffer sway bars and its doing a great job. Ive achieve my highest constant lateral force with 1.1g

Im very satisfy with this upgrade.

Unhappy

I was going to go toward that direction of getting a new automatic SS (just to have a happy wife) and to upgrade it to the 1LE tires, wheels and suspension, but after researching I think that it will cost more than buying the 1LE and missing other stuff like the the bigger '14 rear spoiler & other 1LE stuff like the 3.91 gear and not being able to get the NPP exhaust option. I was very interested on this but now I back up.
