NEED HELP FAST!!! OIL DIPSTICK QUESTION.

So I did a header install this morning on my 2SS/RS M6. Unfortunate for me, I didn't look to see where the oil dipstick tube went into the block before pulling it out. I can't figure it out. Please somebody help!!

It goes in near the bottom on the passenger side. Im sure you already knew that, and i am just horrible at explaining things, but if you get the car in the air, and get underneath it, you can feel it with your finger, not really see it so much.

ok shoot from the #6 spark plug under the exhaust manifold. You will need to be underneath the car. It will be almost directly under that. Its very subtle but you should be able to feel it. Also if you get a flashlight down there you can probably see it as well.

10-4... I'll see if I can find it. I think I was shooting a little too far forward.

Thanks.

I had the same problem when i installed my ARH headers. Didn't think to look for the hole before installing the headers. Once I got under the car and felt for the hole to know about where it was i got it the next try. I also used the clip where the tube bolts to the head as a guide to know when I was close on the alignment. Good luck.

if you have photos please post them, I think this would be a good referance point for others in the same boat.

I finally got it. Sorry for the delayed response.... I just got back from the test drive. Between the headers and the Loudmouth, this thing sounds like a stock car! Thanks to everyone for the assistance.

I can't see how anyone could possibly get a photo. It's actually back behind the starter heat shield. The #6 spark plug reference was dead on though.
