Has anyone not treated their Top ?

The Reason I ask is I have had my car for 10 months and the conv top still looks great (2012) and I am not sure if I should treat it. I picked up some 303 but I am not sure if I should use it

I think someone on here said they wish they had not because bugs stick to it often.

I have not (yet) but what irritates me is that I get a lot of lint and similar things that stick to the top. I did find that brushing off the top from time to time is a good idea (surprised how much dust comes off). I bought some brushes for my garage from a hardware store - stiff bristle and intended for brushing off a work area when woodworking (wood chips, sawdust). They work great for this and are stiff enough to do the job while not causing any apparent damage to the top.

Like you, I'm eager to hear inputs on top care. Also, has anyone seen 303 in regular stores? I can find it online (Amazon, etc.), but have not seen it in the auto parts places.

Do the 303, works great and it does cut down on lint.
I have seen 303 in the super walmart and online walmart. Wasn't at my local smaller walmart.

Ours is three years old and have never used anything on it. A vacuum cleaner works great on it.

303 OR RAGGTOPP -- my neighbor's cat loves to sleep on my convertible top and i usually start my mornings with a foot of masking tape wrapped around my palm...

Me. Delivered 4/11/14. Has spent 80% of it's life in the down position. If I had my way, I'd never see it again.

If you have a boat/marine store in your area, look there for the 303

Havent treated mine yet either, so far I really dont think it needs treating, I have been using an air compressor with a blower to get all the dust out, works awesome, never thought of using a vacumn cleaner, I will try the shop vac and post my results of "suck vs blow" (get your minds outta the gutter) soon.

I've used ragg topp and 303 on mine. Cottonwood is the worst as far as sticking to the top. Like stated above a lint roller takes it right off

Have been a convertible owner for the last 27 years and have never applied anything to my tops. From my 69 SS, 95 Firebird, and both my 2012 1SS Verts. Just wash the dust and grime off with a hose, let air dry. Get a link roller to it when it starts looking fuzzy.

I'm not entirely sure what 'treating' would get me.
Between washings I vacuum. Between vacuuming I use a lint roller.
She sleeps indoors and stays in the parking garage at work.
If she had to sit outside I might consider it.
