It's not missing, just only has the outline. Honestly, until you brought it up I just thought it had black ones.

It's been pointed it out and discussed in posts on other threads. A masterstroke design cue and in my opinion is meant to exemplify weight reduction and single-minded purpose. Very cool detail for a very cool car.

Extra powertrain cooling guys. This car is all about performance that the guys went even after optimizing the front badge. Thats bad ass and it looks awesome in person. First mod I did on my 1LE is take badge out and put the drake grill insert to allow more airflow onto radiator.
