Relocated Washer Resevoir Question

For those of you that have the APEX washer fluid relocation kit, do I need to order the optional pump? Can I not reuse the one that is on the factory bottle? Does it not fit well or even come off? Getting ready to order and just noticed it was an option. Don't want to have to make another order. Thx.

you can reuse the stock pump. You just have to trim a bit of plastic off

I just installed mine yesterday. I used the stock pump, you just have to cut off the plastic nib on top of the pump. It's in the instructions. The fit was good and it works great.

What they said. We offer the optional pump, which is just a stock pump with the plastic nub already trimmed off, for those customers that want to keep their stock unmodified or are nervous about doing it.
