Or they smash the window anyway thinking you might have something valuable in the car.

I have mine done 5%. Darkest the guy had on hand when I went to get them done. I live in Indiana and they don't say to much about tint as long ass your not being an ass and also have your windows down when they're walking up to your car.

A few years ago....My 2005 GTO, I had all the windows 5% tint and the entire front windsheild with 35%..Looked awesome! when they put the meter on the 5% windows it was reading 2% ..LOL and the front windshield was reading 29% with the meter

But I kept getting pulled over so I removed it.

It is my show car. I don't need anybody to see inside unless i want them to. If I want them to I will open the door. Keeps the hands off my doors from people trying to peek in.

I know here in Hawaii ouwr law is 35% +/- 6% which gets you down to 29%. Front windshields are illegal to be tinted. Majority of cars tinted are illegal and rarely will HPD pull you over for that.

50% on front
20% on sides
5% on the rear

Love it and already got one tint ticket

Some angles make it look darker and it is very easy to see out at night

Anybody else have windshield tint? Looking at going with 20%. Just got the Camaro back from the shop after my run in with a deer. Antlers broke the windshield so it had to be replaced.
