What is noticeable is the steering, the front feels more attached to the road, rear is the same. But I noticed the bigger tire up front felt like a nice improvement.

Do you guys think a 315/35/20 will fit on OEM SS rims?

probably fit but youre gonna pop it off the rim at some point. and pretty quick i bet. im tempted to go 275 front 295 rear....thats almost as sketchy on the front as 315s on the back tho

As you can see my 275s on the front rims fit no problem. No way in h$ll it would pop, they fit nice and look great. Crap back in the day I had a 315 on a 8" rim, never gave me a problem, although that had a larg sidewall. I would never recommend doing that, I was 16 and probably got lucky! Lol

It will fit, im sure plenty of guys run it on the stock ss wheel. The issue with that is tire bulge, with that much bulge a tire that large on a wheel like that really isn't necessary.

thing to think about if you do that
1. watch your hard corners because you might demount a tire of that size.
2. probably only good for straightline performance racing
3. it will bulge
4. bigger is not always better with tires, you don't need to go with the buggest, usually just enough tire is faster then too much tire.
5. the tire contact patch will probably be exteremly distorted with the road surface.

I don't suggest running a 315 unless you have atleast a 10.5 wheel.

I went with a 295/35 for the rear. I didn't wanna take any chances with the stock rims. I'm planning on getting some 10 inch wide rims in the future...until then I think the 295/35 is optimal.

Would a set of 245/40/20 be safe on a set of stock 2010 SS front rims?
