How about a status timeline shout out from all of the October 2008 orders.
Ordered 10/18
3000 4/18
3400 5/18
4800 6/1
the rest all ???????????
Found out I went to 4800 here, dealer has only called me once when we submitted the order for 3000, good thing dropping the hurst shifter also dropped the RS package.

I did'nt, that is the point. There is some kink in the order system, when you make a change to your order it drops the RS package. We caught it before we submitted, I do not think I would take one without the RS package, the halo lights are just too cool.
I ordered the Black on Black, I think I will have the cyber gray stripes painted on, but '69 style. Also trying to talk myself out of a trip to Ligenfelter, damn 580 hp is hard not to do.

Have two other friends with GT500 mustangs, hence the trip to ligenfelter to even the field. With the addition of the supercharger the camaro should smoke them at least til they step up on the boost.
Should be a fun time on the one ups.

Hopefully you didnt order from Mission Chevrolet, if you did your in for surprise their trying to sell Camaros 10k over MSRP.

Actually I did, however I do have a signed deal locking in the price and options. No way I would every put a deposit down on anything without a signed agreement on price.
The cars they have been selling for the 10,000 over invoice were ordered in employee names, near as I can tell they have sold about three that way.

Rudolph Chevrolet they deliver the first 2 to customers at MSRP, they didnty try to pull anything up their sleeves. I was there for one delivery actually just by coincidence.

Their pretty good so far, I ordered April 6th and was at 3000 on May 27th. I havent checked my order since then, hopefully I'll be at 3400 this thursday when I go check.

Cool Im going to actually be dropping in performance, I can already eat snakes as it is since I ahve around 600hp at the flywheel and weight about 400 less pounds lol.

But you have to understand something huge usually a lot of horsepower wont win the race, witht he camaro you could probably beat your friends GT500 with bolth ons and a good suspension set up.

If I had better suspension on my car I could be running low 11's, and you know getting 11's here in El Paso is damn hard since we are almost 4000 feet above sea level.

Im planning on supercharging my car, but I wouldnt go through Ligenfelter, I could do a lot more for the same cash.

I've invested 14k in parts in my car, and it put well above other people who bought per say the roush or saleen package. I was actually going to get a GT500 back when they first came out but they wanted 10k over MSRP, so I ended up getting a GT lol.
