What makes you say that? Each set of KOOKS headers is identical to the next and their gains are repeatable each time. I think the variable is the tuner and/or the difference between automatics and standard transmissions aka drivetrain loss.

We sell and install a ton of headers here at JDP and KOOKS headers are hands down some of the nicest headers available; that's why we use them on 90% or more of our builds.

Best regards,

Tyler

I have heard of some guys spacing the belly pan to provide clearance.
I would probably try the kooks, but I'm reluctant to alter the OEM belly pan.

I'm looking for an option that will not require me to cut the pan as we'll. I have the stainless works chambered exhaust and it sounds great. Wish their headers didn't require belly pan mod

Im looking towards the kooks, the trim in the belly pan isnt bad, though I would prefer to not to alter it. It for the performance and sound. Not going to let the belly pan stop me from what I want to do. Unless someone wants to sell me their Pfadt Tri Ys lol

Just curious why you would not want the pfadt again. Looking to buy headers so just curious.
Thanks

We haven't done any with headers alone, so I can't really give a fair comparison, but they are good for roughly ~40 WHP with tuning and the gain only gets better when other mods are introduced. I suggest going with catted connection pipes as off-road pipes tend to be raspy.

Tyler

Though it might be raspy, I just wish to hear it somehow so that I could compare them and see if I want them. Its between kooks and american racing headers.

We used Stainless Works 2" with there black Ceramic coat on our customers Record setting bolt-on's ZL1 (10.14 @ 137.13)! Great headers and fit great too. I highly recommend them!

Here is the pull from when my ZL1 was being dyno'd. This is with kooks 1 7/8 LT headers, no cats and roto fab cai. The quality of the video kinda sucks but hopefully it helps you decide. If I had to do it again I would pick kooks again.
