Question about stock exhaust

Is it one piece from the cats all the way to the mufflers. I am trying to figure out if the stock mufflers are part of the stock system or are they clamped on like my GMPP mufflers.

Anyone?

It's all one piece from the cats to the tips. It's a weird design really.

I dropped the whole stock system off the car in one big piece from the slip joints behind the cats. It's in the shed now.

Not sure if this is the right thread or not. My wife and I are in an argument over whether to get the MRT V2 muffler or the flowmaster 40 series for my V6. We have agreed to let the masses decide. So please let us know thanks!

Dang it. Thanks guys. The dealer is replacing my exhaust because of the rattle problem. And they are charging me for putting the GMPP mufflers back on.

Seems like BS to me if it's being covered. If there's no way for you to get them to do it for free, just ask them to put in the trunk. Depending on how much they are going to charge you, a axleback can easily be done on jackstands in your driveway in a hour or two, if you have a sawzall.
