Playing with my new GoPro HD camera

I love doing videos of my car, espeacially at the track. Well the other day I picked up a GoPro HD Hero camera. I was messing around with placements of the camera today, and I did a few shots of one of my favorite locations so far.

I need to pick up the correct memory card as this is not saving the data fast enough. My next few videos after I get it should come out much crisper and with more detail.

If you're wondering, Borla S-type cat back, DynaTech headers, Dynatech high flow cats, and a Cold Air Inductions intake.

Next week I plan on getting another GoPro HD, and then the 3D camera mount. Now that's going to be some fun.

This set up comes with a nice suction cup. Very stable, it also has a few bases that are double sided taped. I have used them in the past for long trips and cruises.

Here is my set up.

GoPro HD Hero

What video software do you use to edit the video?

I have 2 GoPro's, both with the Battery BacPac's and 32GB SD cards. I've found if you get an SD card rated for 4MB/s or higher (Class 4), the video comes out perfect

I'm using Coral video.

The Sd cards I'm using are from my standard GoPro cameras. I have a 32GB class 10 on order right now.

I'll have to look into Coral video. Thanks!

The class 10 may be a bit overboard, but you'll be able to transfer the footage onto the computer mighty quick

What's funny is, the class 10 was $3.00 cheaper than the 4. Go figure.

lol. Now I'm wondering what class SD cards I bought...

Anyway, is Corel Video a pretty easy program to use?

Also, did you happen to notice if the rear tires picked up and launched anything at the camera? I'm still a bit curious as to just how durable these cases are

I checked the case and I did not notice any chips, cracks or dings. The case is pretty cheap to replace. It's about $40.00 from GoPro.

Corel is pretty easy to use, you may want to download a free version first to play around with it before you buy. It's a basic upload to the program, drop and drag into the timeline and the edit features are easy to explore with. It's a big step in quality compaired to Microsoft Movie maker.

I use Corel videoStudio 3. They just came out with 4 a few days ago. Here is the trial down load page.
