Because people are buying 2012s since that's what on the ground. There are still a lot of 2012s that are in transit that haven't even hit the ground yet.

Think of it from GM's perspective. They want people to buy up the remaining 2012s before they slap all of the new 2013 stuff all over the website.

Why do you want it on the website anyway? You have a wealth of Chevy dealers on this website that will give you all of the 2013 information you can handle.

Its possible that the mufflers do not have the proper configuration to kill the drone like the current L99 mufflers. The current L99 mufflers are larger. The NPP cans, even in quiet mode, may not be able to cancel the frequencies necessary to not drive you insane. just a guess

How can you tell when it kicks on ?

I haven't driving mine but a few hundred miles and hadn't noticed it yet.

Just giving you a point of view...and I'm not the only one. Regardless of how many 11's and 12's are on the lots or in shipment, makes no difference. Those that want a car now, will buy now. Those that want one later, will buy one later. I don't see that giving potential customers information is a bad thing.

All I'm saying is the website should be updated with the 2013 information. It works for Ford. The Mustang configurator changed as soon as you could no longer order a 2012 to reflect the 2013 model information.

That is a VERY good theory, and makes as much sense as anything.

When cruising you couldn't really tell, but if you dipped into the gas at ALL when it was in 4cyl mode, it made a very audible farting/buzz noise, and you felt the felt the switch through the gas pedal and even the steering wheel as it switched back, kind of a bump. Currently have a G8GT as a DD and previously had an Impala SS, both w/ AFM, and their operation is/was completely seamless throughout the operating range. Camaro was highly annoying and intrusive, and will be tuned out immediately should we get another, warranty be damned.

I too want to know the pricing of the 1LE!

Heard it won't be available until August, with prices coming in late June-early July?

I think we will definitely have pricing this month. The first batch of 2013's are being built the week of 6/11 so we should see pricing soon.

Is there any difference in displacement on demand (DOD) and (AFM) ?

I have that on my Silverado and can't feel it a bit.....and I've tried to....lol

Was your Camaro a 2012 ?..... I wonder if that's something they improved on the 12's or I just haven't experienced it yet.

DOD is what they called it when it first came out, our '06 Impala was "DOD", but somewhere along the line they changed the name to AFM, same tech though. I can't feel in in our '09 G8 GT w/ the 6.0 A6, can't hear it either. Camaro was a '10.

That's what I thought but I wasn't positive.

I wonder if they have changed something with it to eliminate that on the 12's....I know they changed a few things here and there with the suspension from 10 to 11 to the 12's......I'll post back if I hear/feel it change over.

I would like to see what the Blue Ray Metallic and Mojave leather interior looks like. If it really looks like the Dusk concept I'm all in

I'm very interested to see if anything's changed on the '13s with the AFM. One of the guys at work has an '11 SS/RS auto, and the AFM is about to drive him insane.
Tuning it out may be the only option.
