IPF super charged V6 gearing question
I'm getting ready to upgrade my rear diff and wanted to ask any of you guys that have have already done this what ratio did you use.. I found a 3.45 gear and axels and hubs cheap but before I buy them I just want to make sure I am not going to high for F/I any input would be awesome... I'm also stepping up to overkills stage 3 kit here soon if that matters

Ok awesome just making sure it wasn't to tall for a V6. Thanks for the reply

I run 3.91's with a torque converter that stalls over 4500 on my IPF kit running over 15+ PSI.

Had Richmond 3.73's in mine with the 6spd manual trans and loved them too! First gear was a little too short, but 2nd was a killer "around town" gear! 3.45 will be fine.

I was thinking about going with the 3.91 out of a 1LE but heard for F/I it will rev to high to fast is that not true? This won't be an all out race car I still would like to maintain drivabitly
