OBX, TSP, & Stainless Power comparison and Installing headers

I've decided between OBX, TSP, or Stainless Power, long tube 1 and 7/8 headers with high flow cats. Which seem to be the better? I've read were MBS headers have to be dimpled in a spot to make'em fit and I don't want anything like that. Also whats an average time and cost it takes to install a set of headers? Opinions needed, Thanks.

Flip a coin odds are you will end up within a 1-3hp difference depending on which brand you choose.

Probably not even that much.

I would say pick the one your gut says to go with and/or fits your budget the best.

As far as time to install...that will depend on experience and tools. I think someone said the other day where they took their car into ADM to have it done and they had them on in less than 2 hrs. They've done serveral so it's a no brainer for them. If you're going to do them in your garage on jack stands give youself at least 2- 3 times that.

I'll recommend Stainless Power but all three are a great value. If you have issues with OBX good luck trying to deal with those guys. I'd go with Stainless Power because they are designed by Stainless Works and practically identical in design. I've only heard good things about TSP but I have no personal experiance with them.

I recommend getting the Stainless Works. Their worth the extra cost IMO.

Also the SW comes with Lifetime Warranty compared to others with only 2yrs. or maybe even none.

Before buying the Stainless Powers I considered the OBX's. Tried to contact them about the dimple issue...no reply so that kind of told me something about there customer service. Now as for dealing with Juiced...good price and GREAT customer service. Get the Stainless, talk to the guys at Juiced.

Yeah I'm leaning more to Stainless Power or TS. So I'm reading it could take anywhere from under 2hrs to a half day depending on my tools and knowledge. I have access to a lift and got the tools just never installed headers. How much does a shop charge, on average?

In my experience more than mbs have to be dinged to fit! We have ran into problems denting kooks obx and pacesetters and those are just a few. All in the same spot to avoid hitting the shaft going to the steering wheel.
