The Z-28 intake does not even remotely resemble any of the K&N offerings.

Might be closer to an AFE.

Ted.

I believe that proves it can hang with the best! Does it make it #1, maybe? Goes to show that the engineers know what they're doing! Who would of thought that the Z28 intake would out perform most aftermarket intakes. I'm really loving this intake! Definitely worth the money!

The very reason the CAI is so successful.

Ted.

Doesn't need a tune , he could do shorty headers and still not need a tune.

Has any one used the Z-28 intake on a stock SS A-6 and not had it tuned. Just wondering what would happen if I did not get a tune at this time?

I just got tuned but I ran it for a week with out one and it seemed fine to me, maybe not long enough to know for sure but I noticed nothing adverse. and you can really hear and feel a little bit of difference with just the intake. Tune just makes everything else feel better to me and the over all feel and performance. Dynosteve did my tune, feels great!

Our intake performs and sounds great. It works well with the stock calibration and has a large air box and filter size in case you later decide to add more power. Additionally, we offer upgrade kits to fit our intake to most 5th gen Camaro supercharger applications.

FYI, one of our dealers dyno tested a Z28 intake vs. the Roto-fab on a Z28. Although gains were small, the Roto-fab outperformed the Z intake. He did send the dyno sheet as well, but it didn't get saved. We are going to get all of the information and post it up for comparison.

The first picture posted shows we picked up over 17 peak HP on a stock 6 speed car. And yes, this was tested at a competitor's facility!

Besides giving you more power and better sound, we can make your intake to blend in with a stock look or jump out at you...it's your choice.
