Buying a convertible SS to save on gas!

So i figured out today one of the many reasons I can't wait to get my SS is because it will get almost DOUBLE the gas mileage I get in the BEAST.

Kinda funny since i read that most people shy away from the SS because of the gas mileage.

If the SS get's double your current mileage i'm guessing Hummer or Suburban is your BEAST. I avg 17mpg in my SS not exactly a sipper but who cares.

AWD turbo ESV.

I usually only drive it on the weekends but the wife's dead beat brother got kicked out of his house and so the wife is letting him stay here and use the beater.
