It's quite apparent that a lot of people make them selves known on this forum and would, no doubt, enjoy the event. I think the whole caravan thing would be awesome, and a great way to meet Camaro owners young and old. I’m quite young (21), and just don't know whether my short time lived here (so far) on the forum is enough to make the trip worth it. (I guess I'm one of those people who like to know people at the location I'm going) This trip would be a pretty big road trip for me, coming from MI, so I guess the question is, to go or not to go???

PS I'd also have to convince the GF to either go or let me go. That could be the toughest part!

It's not the things you did that you remember most, it's the things you DIDN'T do. You're 21, you'd kick yourself if you heard how great a time you would have had. Bring you GF and come enjoy yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Being a part of the first one would be an amazing thing to look back at.

It's a no brainer, if you have the time and the means to go, then GO. Take I65 Stop off in Louisville on your way down, I'd be happy to caravan with you.

Can't help you on the girlfriend question; didn't understand 'em then, don't understand 'em now.
Yeah I definitely want to go out and enjoy this car, a road trip is secretly what I want but yet to discuss. The main problem is that I actually have more people that would die to do go to this than I can even fit in my car! More than 2 people I think would be pushing it for that kind of ride. Unfortunately they are not Camaro owners themselves

Well I guess a general concensus would be do it with no regrets and enjoy it!
Hmmmmm....

Heck yeah you gotta go!!

Some of us coming out of Texas are stopping over in Biloxi MS for a little food, drink and cansino action before we even get to CamaroFest!! Road trip in a road trip! LOL!!

I've been to many of these events and one thing I can always come away with...I was so glad I went! Meet really good folks, great cars to look at and see all the ideas, custom work, performance monsters, etc and I've always had a good time!

The wife has went with me in the past, she's going with me again...this is the first one too for Camaro5...in a few years this thing could be a NATIONAL event...and you can say, "I was at the first one...only XXX showed up and look here today, X,XXX showed!"

See...you got to be there to experience the fun, the people and the cars!

There will be stories from this thing told on this board for 4, 5 heck maybe 10 years...

So anyone on here planning on traveling down from MI? Still in the "debating" mode. And would taking 75 through Tennessee take you through the "hills of Tennessee" that are commonly stated on this forum as must see locations?
