Bluetooth Echo

Previously I used a 3rd party device for my hands-free calling. No issues.

With the GM Buetooth I am experiencing an echo of my voice that I can hear on the speaker and so can the person I called. I believe that this has something to do with my volume setting but if I reduce the volume I may not be able to hear the person I called.

This has happened on both calls I have made so far.

Any advice other than the obvious - turn the volume down?

Thanks

Paul

have you disconnected and reconnected it enough... Delete your device from the car, and re-sync it...

sometimes it take time for the bluetooth to adjust to your phone usually not more than a day or 2... how long have you had it connected

No. It paired just fine so I left it alone. I'll give it a shot!

Haven't got to it yet. I'll try in the AM.

Thanks

Samsung Blackjack II (AT&T). When I go to the GM Bluetooth site the 2010 Camaro isn't listed so I tried the 2009 Malibu. The BlackJack II is listed for the Malibu but that's no guarantee.

I've tried restarting my phone, deleting the pairing from the car then re-pairing the phone. Still get an echo coming from the speaker. It is an echo of my voice, not the person I called.

After doing some digging I think the problem is with my phone. Some people have had the same problem although with different cars.

Thanks

Paul

Final Word

Documenting my conclusion for anyone that may have a similar problem with a Samsung BlackJack II.

It's the piece-of-sh!t phone. Just tried it with my son's QuickFire and it worked perfectly. I'm running Windows Mobile 6.1 but 6.5 isn't due out for awhile yet. Not sure if there would be a BlueTooth upgrade with that or not.

Will live with it for now then get another phone. Then again I do have 130 On-Star minutes to use.

Thanks to all for your input.

Paul
