The Mike Guarise Nickey Collection up for auction at Mecum Indy 2011

Seven cars from the Mike Guarise Nickey Collection are up for auction at the Mecum Indy 2011 auction that takes place May 17-22 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis, Indiana. (http://www.mecum.com/auctions/group_...GROUP_ID=10056)

Three of them are Camaros:

1) Lot S193 1967 Chevrolet Nickey/Bill Thomas 427 Stage III Camaro
427 CI, 4-Speed (http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_de...GROUP_ID=10056)

2) Lot S194 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe
LT1/360 HP, 4-Speed (http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_de...GROUP_ID=10056)

3) Lot S192 2002 Chevrolet Nickey/Bill Thomas 427 Stage III Camaro

The others are Corvettes and Chevelles.

Just got back from the Indy auction and it was really good. These Nickey cars were spectacular in person. I also ran into Stepano from Nickey who is now working for Mecum... He is one good guy... If you have never been to a Mecum Auction you owe it to yourself to go, it will be a treat. Just try and Ignore Chicken George and it will be awesome LOL

The 4th gen was around 95k. The 67 Camaro went for around 400k.

Yes, I saw that one. Pretty cool. Are you guys doing the resto on that '74? I thought I saw it in the background of a somebody's posted picture of their Nickey car in your garage. Thanks for the info, I'll keep a lookout for the features in future issues of those mags.
