When to apply opti-coat?
My dads bud is a detailer and is going to buffer my car and get all that crummy sap sitting on my cars finish.
Now.... I am wanting to do a coat of opti-coat aswell... Should he buffer the opticoat into it? Is the opti-coat a "wax" replacement OR do you add the opticoat AFTER the wax application? Or opticoat THEN wax? any help would be appreciated |

Opticoat is put on a clean surface. Prep is absolutely essential, so after buffing to a perfect finish (any marks on the paint are sealed underneath Opticoat) you must follow it with an IPA wipedown, or Eraser. It is a nano coating that is put on bare paint (no wax or sealants), I advise you to look quite into it because if he's not familiar with it you can easily cause quite a bit of trouble if you don't apply it correctly.

It's actually not a Nano coating, but that's really not important.
