G5CR cold air intake

Does anyone run this intake, or have any dyno numbers? I was looking at this on ebay... they claim they have the best intake and makes 20-25rwhp! They state that the box on other designes actually keeps hot air in the box, and they did road test to prove that it makes more power without the box. It sound intesting, and kinda makes sence, what do you think? Search cold airs for 2010s on ebay, its on the first page.

I can't say i've seen numbers on this intake, but I can tell you that EVERY CAI that goes to the OEM location needed a box to make any HP. A few companies released theirs without boxes but added them shortly there after. While they may or may not get some heat off the radiator, it's FAR better than sucking in the heat right off the exhaust manifolds.

that has got to be the worst cold air intake i have ever seen. period.

i like how they say that a heat shield will give you no gains..... and then their "stage 2 package" includes a heat shield.

That's pretty good considering ambient in Lousyanna is around 140. Oh sorry, i'm thinking humidity.

If it's the cost that looks good, look into the Halltech Yellowjacket. It's only $20 more and they usually have free shipping. It's KNOWN to make around 14whp which is the the most any CAI alone makes. It also comes with a heatshield.

I love mine. i have had it on for about 9 months now with no issues. It does add a nice growl to the exhaust. I had headers put on before I did my dyno so i can't say that it makes what they claim. I can however say that everyone says that 413 RWHP is pretty good for intake and headers only.
