A couple of bad shots of two of the Stevenson Camaro's! The first is one of the cars in the Rolex Series race, the second is one of the cars in the Continental Series race. And special thanks to the Ford Racing team for at least showing up to cater the Chevy teams!!

A guy that works on my route asked me today, why did all these Camaros come through Flowery Branch this weekend? They tried to run me off the road! Said he guessed his ol pickup truck wasn't fast enough for y'all!
I told him y'all were going to eat some BBQ!

Glad everyone had a good time, and it was my pleasure to put this together. I have been a road racing fan since I was a kid, and I am a huge fan of Grand Am.

Robin Lindell's final pass coming though turns 10A and 10B was awesome, and we got to the stands just in time to watch it happen.

All of the pictures are great, and please keep them coming!

If anyone is interested in doing a track day at Road Atlanta later this year, let me know and I will get you the information. It will probably be September before I can get back to one, but I will certainly be doing at least a couple of more before the end of the year. You can check out Chin Motorsports, Hooked on Driving, and NASA (google with "track days" so you don't get space shuttle info) on the internet to get an idea of cost and details.

Again, I really had a good time hanging out with everyone and hopefully will see everyone soon.

I have a request, I saw several cars at Road Atlanta that had clear paint protection on them. Had my done before the event and unfortunately I am a victim of shoddy workmanship, especially after seeing the fine work done on the cars I saw in attendance. Could those members who had their cars done with a clear bra, etc. please contact me with the company, brand of clear film and location they had their clear paint protection done at ??
Thanks in advance.

Derek has the best product and is the best at installation.

Yep - Just had mine done a couple of weeks ago. I waited for it and got to see Derek in action. Pro job for sure. Also, they have the nicest waiting room of any service business I have ever been.
Don't know if you have tint, but they do that too...

I wished I had asked this question prior to having my car done by an installer in east TN. They were supposed to be good, but not in my case. I would have gladly driven to Atlanta to have it done right the 1st time.

Hey guys. I had a great time, too, thanks to you all. It's the aftermath and my stupidity that kicked my ass. I burnt the crap out of my face. I seem to do this every first day in the sun of the season. It's bad enough, I missed work yesterday. Why am I begging for skin cancer? Dumbass that I am, I had sunblock in the car and didn't use it. I think shooting myself in the foot would be a better idea.

Maybe if you guys take turns slapping my burnt face, that will make me learn.

Okay...on to the next event, with skin protection in hand...and USED!
