There are no "Fog Lights" per se.
They are techinacally Daytime Running Lights.
There is no switch on the RS, I also think that you can't run them with the headlights either, without some wiring changes.

The notch just to the right of 'auto' (I think it's parking lights) will turn on just the Halos and, I believe, the taillights. But I know for sure just the Halos come on in the front. The main headlights stay off and the DRLs go off also. You just have to remember to manually turn it back to auto or off when you get out.

Just turn the dial one "click"...the halos will come on with the parking lights.

Mine does not do this. My Halos only come on with the Head Lights and never w/ the DRL on.

not really.. .they turn off after a while... (3 minutes i believe) does not drain the battery enough to worry about it.

I drive with them on all the time... i love the look of it.

I guess GM changed how they work for the later models. I know I can not turn my Halos on w/out turning on the headlights.

Mine was built in Feb 2010 and I can turn mine on without the headlights. How 'late model' are you talking about?

That was the first thing that happened to me! Did someone ask you to put your fog lights on ?

Don't worry you don't have fog lights, those are automatic day time running lights. Don't ask why.

That's what I do all the time. they should have just made the halos the daytime running lights

Mine was build March 5, 2010. My Halos will only come on with the headlights. If I move my light switch one click clockwise from "AUTO", they do not come on, only the parking lights come on. If I turn it one more click clock wise, then the lights come on and the halos come on. (NOTE: DRL are always off in either of those positions, as I would expect them to be.)
