Very true, Jedi!

I'm split on which wheels I like better, now....SSX pieces are in the lead with the ZL1 wheels close behind....

Everything about this car is HOT!!!

The one at the fest had suede interior.

Good catch. I missed that...

Both ZL1 show cars feature the suede interior. The 45th anniversary car has the leather dash trim.

If Synergy Green was discontinued, why did they bring one to the show. That bothers me, because I had placed an order for one, and had to pick a new color because it was removed from the palette.

I talked with Adam Berry and John Fitzpatrick at C5 Fest. There are currently only 2 ZL1 show cars (the one seen here was the first one made and the one at C5 Fest was the second).

The alacantra suede interior was featured on a CTS displayed. I think most will like it. The seat inserts give a remarkable amount of grip to your backside. I didn't slide on the seat at all, as much as I tried to move around. The steering wheel suede cover also gives a good feel and and a positive non slip grip to it. This material feels "stiffer" or "tougher" than you would imagine, it will hold up to much use. I will order it with no doubts.

Just came back from the show. Not sure how I feel about the car yet. I was not overly impressed with it. But who knows I may change my mind. It is always hard for the buildup to be met with the appropriate reaction.

Interesting info though, I asked the car lady if the color was Victory Red or Torch Red, because I told it was too bright to be Victory Red. She said it was niether color. The ZL1 is actually painted in Fire Red which was a Pontiac color GM used to use. Than I asked her if it was going to be offered for the production ZL1, and she said as of now, yes. She mentioned that GM liked this red the best for this particular car.

Interesting info though, I asked the car lady if the color was Victory Red or Torch Red, because I told it was too bright to be Victory Red. She said it was niether color. The ZL1 is actually painted in Pulse Red which was a Pontiac color used on the latest GTOs and Gen 3-4 Firebirds. Than I asked her if it was going to be offered for the production ZL1, and she said as of now, yes. She mentioned that GM liked this red the best for this particular car.

She told me the same thing, only she told me it was called "Fire Red"

I thought it was nice, BUT, after sitting in the Z06 vette, I fell in love. Sitting in that car, you KNOW your in something special. It just felt right to me

You've never sat in a ZL1
Trust me

So much better than even a ZR1

LOL, I've sat in a few 5th gen's and I do like them. Visibility could be better, but I can deal. Still, not the same "feel" as sitting in a Z06
