Question Popping Noise Coming From Drivers Seat

Have anyone experienced a popping noise coming from there drivers seat? if you shift your weight on the lower part of the seat is were my sound is coming from plus by the belt buckle the side puffy part of the seat is really lose like it has come undone... im going to take it in no mater what to get it fixed i don't think the seat should be making that sound with only 2,000 miles on it.

I find if I "push" myself back in my seat (moving around) the head rest will "ratchet" a notch higher.

Is your seat adjusted all the way back "to the stops". Try bumping the adjustment forward a tad...

yeah i have same problem.. only 1200 miles on my RS.. if its all the way back, it sounds like a popping/clicking loose sound... if i shift my weight back and forth (like rocking back n forth), i can hear it... its mainly heard on bumpy streets, or when i accelerate, or come to a quick stop.. i tried to push the seat foward just a tad today, and i didnt hear it... but im still taking it to the dealer, it should be doing that shit regardless on a brand new frickin car... good luck bro!

Had that same poping noise on mine as well. I constantly move the seat back when I get out - makes it easier to get in.

Then one day (at about the 1500 mile mark) had a really loud pop and then never heard it again. I while later I found an odd white plastic strip like peice under the front seat with a few ball bearings in it. Showed and explained to my dealer and said if the seat still moved, he can't do anything about it.

Guess I'll have to wait until it complete breaks..

There is a memorandum from Chevrolet to the dealers, took mine in, they fixed it within 5 minutes. They know it is a problem....

Ive noticed a popping noise from my drivers seat as well but it isnt loud, just pisses me off....lol

What did the dealer do to fix your car? I honestly dont want them to take my seat out of the car they would end up making things worse.

Dealer tightened some bolts, lubed rails that were not done properly when constructed.
