Hurst Shifter

Just finished installing a Hurst shifter in my 2010 2SS LS3. Not too tough. Just follow the instructions supplied by Hurst; maybe even read them before you start. One thing I might add. There is a heat shield just past the trans.; it is a little sharp! There are two speed nuts and towards the rear there is a floor brace that holds the shield in place. Take it out of your way and this will go much smoother. I just took it for a quick ride and it feels like throwing a light switch!!Smooth as silk!

Did you take any pics during installation?

No pic's, but if you go on the Hurst web site and click on the product image for this shifter they have the instructions in PDF format and you can look at them. I also think there already are some pic's listed in the Forum.

Yea, and removing the shield will help you find the clips that fall off during the stock removal. I left the shield on and couldn't find one clip till I removed it! Oh, and I LOVE the Hurst shifter! No issues!
